First overseas golf trip, my wife and I were at an auction in Portland in the spring of 2013. There was a package in the auction called “Fore in Ireland”. She suggested lets bid on it so we did and well in September of 2013 off we went on our first trip to Ireland.
The wife who likes Churches and Castles is really in her happy place.
This also was our first experience driving on the opposite side of the road, which in Ireland many of the roads are somewhat narrow.

| Day 10 | Up early for a flight from Paris to Portland via Chicago. Traveling with Golf Clubs, we explained to the hotel we needed a larger vehicle in the morning to the airport which well was confusing for them as a Mercedes four door sedan shows up. and a short time later confused lady at check-in asking what that bag is. She had never seen Golf Clubs before. |
