Replay round at no charge - no advance reservations
Old Course
We will submit entries for the daily Old Course ballot every day until everyone has had an opportunity to play it at least once. Daily ballot entries are accepted for a minimum of two and a maximum of four golfers. If you are successful for the July 6th or July 7th ballot then your scheduled round for that day can be moved to a different time that same day or to July 9th. The ability to reschedule is based on course availability, but both the New course and Castle Course generally have available times 24-48 hours before play.
If you have not been successful in the July 6th, 7th or 9th daily ballot then then plan would be to show up at the starter around 5:30 am to get in-line for the available walk-on times for that day. There are normally 20-30 spots available for walk-on players on a given day.
Replay Rounds at No Charge
We purchased a 3 day advance ticket for some of the rounds at St. Andrews. This allows one advanced tee time per day plus unlimited additional rounds each any on any course except the Old Course. Additional rounds are on a space available basis. The applicable dates are July 6th, 7th & 12th.

| At a liquor store in St Andrews, asking questions about various bottles, the guy gets my friend a bottle down and says "we had a 4,000 pound bottle here last week and I pulled it down for the guy to look at.
